About Great Hemp Jewelry Company

The name "Great Hemp" comes from the first symbol ever made for the plant which is a fusion of the 2 words ("tai-ma"). This demonstrates how useful the hemp plant was to the earliest tribes on the planet.  Today, as people move into a conscious awareness of the impact that humankind makes on the environment, we must seek out renewable resources to ensure a sustainable life on Planet Earth.  Hemp is an exciting plant because it can be made into so many textiles, energy sources and food products.

I founded this company in 1998 with the hopes of bringing more excitement to this resource through wearable hemp.  My jewelry has been sold at surf, skate, music and health food stores all over the country.  I have wholesale prices listed on the product pages, which I guarantee will sell in your store or I will replace them for free.  I also have many styles and pendants that are not included in this website, so feel free to ask for an artist's hand-picked assortment.

Hemp Jewelry

Guys, men, girls and women hemp necklaces, chokers, anklets and bracelets USA made by Great Hemp Jewelry Company!  We have listed hemp jewelry for retail, as well as for wholesale to surf shops, health food stores, eco-gift stores, and mountain shops.

The symbol in our company logo is the first written word for hemp, "Tai Ma" which translates to "Great Hemp".  Ancient cultures were dependent on hemp for clothing, food, lamp oil, rope and farming.

  • The United States Constitution is written on hemp, which is why we can still read it 200 years later.
  • The word "canvas" comes from "cannibas" because the great artists of the Renaissance used hemp to paint their masterpieces.
  • Levi's once had a lifetime guarantee on their jeans, because they were made of the strong hemp fiber!
  • The first men to cross the Bering Strait carried hemp seeds in their pouches

Enjoy these hand-made hemp creations,
